PURPOSE:To allow recording, reproducing and erasing at a a high speed and to improve repetitive durability by forming the grooves corresponding to guide grooves and the pits corresponding to prepits on a photoresist layer applied on a flat glass substrate. CONSTITUTION:The grooves corresponding to the guide grooves 8 and the pits corresponding to the prepits are formed on the photoresist layer 2 applied on the flat glass plate 1 and are made to remain as they are on the substrate 1 without being peeled. An under coat layer 3, a phase change recording layer 4, an over coat layer 5, a reflecting layer 6, and a photosetting resin layer 7 are successively formed on the photoresist layer 2 to constitute the optical memory medium. The optical memory medium exhibits the good characteristics even to the recording, reproducing and erasing at the high speed and the characteristics excellent in the repetitive characteristics are obtd. as well. |
