<p>PURPOSE:To simply obtain the subject compound capable of providing-high asymmetric yield by reacting an optical isomeric compound which is either of enantiomers with dihalides, then reacting the resultant compound with a specific compound, subsequently treating the prepared compound with an acid and further reacting the treated compound with a specified compound in the presence of a catalyst. CONSTITUTION:For example, a compound expressed by formula I (Ph is phenyl; Men is formula II) is reacted with a compound expressed by formula III [X is halogen; R is group expressed by the formula (CH2)n (n is 1-6), 3-6C cycloalkylene or group expressed by the formula CH2-Ph-CH2] to provide a compound expressed by formula IV, which is then isolated or, without isolation, reacted with a compound expressed by formula V (R<1> is naphthyl, biphenyl which may have lower alkyl on the phenyl ring or anthranyl; M is alkali metal) and then treated with an acid to afford a compound expressed by formula VI. The resultant compound expressed by formula V is isolated, etc., and reacted with a compound expressed by formula VII (Y is halogen; R<2> is H or lower alkyl) in the presence of a catalyst to afford the objective compound expressed by formula VIII.</p> |
