PURPOSE:To simultaneously initialize all processors to reduce the initializing time by providing identification numbers which become valid to all processors connected to a data bus for diagnosis. CONSTITUTION:Processor identification numbers are respectively given to processors 11 and 12-1n and the processor ID check circuit 1 of each processor 11 and 12-1n is set so that the circuit 1 can detect the processor identification number and a common identification number given to its own processor. When a diagnostic processor 10 sends one processor identification number, the circuit 1 of the processor 11 detects the number and gives enable signals to a driver circuit 3 and answer output circuit 2 and the circuit 2 sends an answer to the processor 10 through an identification number circuit. The processor 10 recognizes that the processor 10 has received the answer from the processor 11 and starts communication with the processor 11. Then data including commands are received by all processors and the processors are respectively initialized. |
