PURPOSE:To improve quality of images by melting an electric conductive magnetic ink layer on an ink sheet, and by magnetically transferring the molten electric conductive magnetic ink layer to a medium. CONSTITUTION:An ink sheet 1 and a medium 6 are conveyed respectively in the directions marked with arrows 20 and 21 between a magnetic member 5 and a head 4 such as a thermal head, a stylus head, laser beam, LED, LCS, or the Like which are capable of melting an electric conductive magnetic ink layer 2. A very small opening exists between the ink sheet 1 and the medium 6, and the molten electric conductive magnetic ink layer 2 is transferred to the medium 6 as it is attracted by magnetic force of the magnetic member 5, and images are formed on the medium. Thereby excellent images can be formed repeatedly even on a medium which is inferior in surface smoothness, and improvement of image quality can be achieved therewith. |
