PURPOSE:To obtain a prepreg having quick curability and easy moldability without lowering the heat-resistance of the base resin by impregnating a polystyrylpyridine resin and a specific polyfunctional maleimide resin in a reinforcing material. CONSTITUTION:The objective prepreg can be produced by impregnating a composition composed of (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polystyrylpyridine resin and (B) preferably 5-50 pts.wt. of a polyfunctional maleimide resin having >=4 maleimide groups in one molecule [preferably a resin of formula I (M1 is group of formula II; R is H or methyl; n is 0-2)] in a reinforcing material such as carbon fiber, glass fiber, silicon carbide fiber, alumina fiber and ceramic fiber. |
