摘要 PURPOSE: To enhance the strength of a welded joint by generating heat required in order to weld a layer of a conductive plastic material to a layer of a second plastic material by passing a current through the layer of the conductive plastic material. CONSTITUTION: By generating heat required in order to weld a layer of a conductive plastic material to a layer of a second plastic material by passing a current through the layer of the conductive plastic material, a semi-finished product consisting of layers of a plurality of plastic materials wherein at least one layer comprises the conductive plastic material is produced. The heat-resistant plastic material used in this method is a material capable of being processed, for example, by injection molding of temp. exceeding 220 deg.C or even 240 deg.C, especially, a material capable of being processed by injection molding exceeding even 280 deg.C in the case of a highly heat-resistant plastic material. Further, in the produced semi-finished product, corrosion on one hand and notching on the other hand can be avoided by adding a nonmetal conductive material, especially, conductive carbon black.
