<p>PURPOSE:To use the device even when the type of a personal computer is different by injecting a charge accumulated by a capacitor into a ROM corresponding to an inputted control signal and writing prescribed data in the ROM by cutting a fuse in the ROM. CONSTITUTION:For a boosting circuit 32 to boost the voltage of a power source 31, the output voltage value is suitably set so as to cut the fuse generated in a ROM 40, and a capacitor C accumulates the charge for cutting the fuse. Then, efectrification time for cutting the fuse is decided corresponding to the capacity of the capacitor C. A write control means is connected to signal lines DB0-DB6 of a connector 50 at the printer terminal of a personal computer side, the control signal is inputted from the CPU of the personal computer through this connector 50 and corresponding to this inputted control signal, the charge stored in the capacitor C is injected into the ROM 40. Then, the prescribed data is controlled to be written in the ROM 40 by cutting the fuse in the ROM 40 by this injected charge. Thus, even when the type of the personal computer is different, the ROM writing device can be used.</p> |
