PURPOSE:To obtain the manufacture of reinforced plastics excellent in both rigidity and shock resistance and a die for manufacture by press-fitting a different kind of thermoplastic resins into a central path and a concentric path joined at front ends while introducing a fiber material into the paths and leading out the fiber material from the front end of a joining section. CONSTITUTION:A central path 5 with an introducing port 4 and a concentric path 7 concentrical to the central path 5 with an introducing port 6 are formed to a die 3, an upstream-side fiber introducing path 10 communicated with the outside is shaped to the inner surface of the central path 5, and a downstream- side fiber introducing path 11 communicated with the outside is formed to the external inner surface of the concentric path 7. Resins A, B are extruded from extruders 1, 2, and press-fitted into the central path 5 and the concentric path 7 from the introducing ports 4, 6 respectively while the fiber bundles 12a, 13a of fibers C, D are induced from the upstream-side fiber path 10 and the downstream-side fiber path 11 respectively from rollers 12, 13. these fiber bundles are driven by a drawer 17, and forwarded to a cutter 18 through a joining section 8 and the cooler 12, and cut, thus acquiring pellets 19. |
