PURPOSE:To reduce an adverse influence upon a video signal due to intermodulation by utilizing a Wobble signal for ternary 3-ary converted CIRC signal. CONSTITUTION:Information is newly multiplexed by slightly oscillating (Wobbling) to right and left with oscillating width 10 the tangential direction of bit trains 7a-7c to an advancing direction. EFM modulation is exerted upon the CIRC code used for a compact disk. For this EFM modulation, the run length is limited to 3-11 bits and a binary code average directing a Digital Sum Value toward zero. In this case, since a binary code having only a binary state is not desirable, the CIRC code is converted to the ternary 3-ary code having the three states of High level, Mid level and Low level and by this ternary code, tracks are wobbled so as to multiplex the frequency of the digital audio signal. Thus, intermodulation between the video signal and the audio signal is reduced and there is no adverse influence upon the video signal. |
