PURPOSE:To efficiently recover As in an As-contg. soln. by bringing the soln. into contact with a specified chelate resin. CONSTITUTION:An As-contg. soln. is brought into contact with a chelate resin having polyamino groups or amino-polyalcohol groups to remove the As from the soln. The adsorbability of As on the chelate resin is affected by the kind of the resin, and though the kinds of metals coexisting with As and pH, conditions in contact can be properly set by carrying out a preliminary experiment. This method has high industrial value because the As adsorbing capacity of the chelate resin is large and the equilibrium concn. of As at the time of adsorption can remarkably be reduced even in the case where the As-contg. soln. contains ions other than As ions. |
