PURPOSE:To enhance color forming properties, raw preservability and the stability of a developed color image by adding a salicylic acid derivative having an aryloxyalkyloxy group as a substituent or a metal salt and a metal aquo complex thereof to a thermal color forming layer. CONSTITUTION:A salicylic acid derivative having an aryloxyalkyloxy group as a substituent or a metal salt and a metal aquo complex are added to the thermal color forming layer. The metal aquo complex is selected from aquo complex of Cu, Ni, Co, Fe, Mn and Zn. As the salicylic acid derivative, a compound of which the total number of a carbon atoms is 12 or more, especially, 14 or more represented by formula is pref. from the viewpoint of water- insolubility. By this method, high sensitivity, good raw preservability, the stability of a developed color image, especially good resistance against discoloration or erasure due to a fluorescent pen can be obtained. |
