PURPOSE:To enable stable driving at all times by providing an abnormality detection sensor which detects an abnormal run of a filament body at the outer periphery of a pipe for wire passing. CONSTITUTION:The quantity S1 of transmitted light at the time of a normal straight run is stored in a data processing part 22 and detection data (transmitted light quantity) which is inputted from a photodetector 21 at all times is compared with said stored transmitted light quantity S1. If an abnormal run due to 'waving' is caused, the length of the filament body l in a unit run section becomes long, and consequently the transmitted light quantity decreases; and relation S1>S2 is satisfied in the comparison of the data processing part 22, where S2 is the transmitted light quantity. From this relation, the abnormal run can be detected and a control part 24 is controlled according to the light quantity difference between the both to set the sending-out speed of the pinch rollers 16 and 16 to the best speed corresponding to the run state of the filament body l. |
