PURPOSE:To enable speedy and accurate access to many communication destinations through easy operation and to control a communication from a musical instrument main body by selecting the communication destinations by using an operation element such as a keyboard and transmitting and receiving data to and from the communication destinations. CONSTITUTION:A normal sound generation mode is entered by turning on the power source and displayed on a display unit 10. With a mode key 24 ON, a communication mode is switched to a communication data edit mode. In the normal sound generation mode, a musical sound assigned to a key is generated by operating the keyboard 6. In the communication mode, the name, telephone number, etc., of the communication destinations assigned to the key are displayed on the display unit 10 and the destination is called automatically by pressing an enter key 23; when the destination is connected, data can be transmitted and received. In the communication data edit mode, a known system is usable in mode wherein data used for the communication are set to the respective keys of the keyboard 6. |
