PURPOSE:To form images having a high resolution and high image quality by dissolving resin fine particles and fixing these resin particles to the adjacent resin fine particles. CONSTITUTION:Internal nucleus particles 1 are produced by a kneading a pulverizing method, polymn. method, etc., using raw materials consisting of a binder resin 11, magnetic material 12, coloring agent 13, release agent 14, etc. Polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutyrene, etc., are used as the binder resin 11. The fine particles which are chemically stable when dispersed into the binder resin and have <=5mum grain size are preferable as the magnetic material 12. Black dyes and pigments, such as carbon black and graphite, are used as the coloring agent 13. Spray dried fine particles, etc., of the polyacrylate deriv., butyral resin, etc., produced by an emulsion polymn. method, etc., are used as the resin fine particles 2. A solvent 4 is used to dissolve and fix the resin particles 2, for which dichloromethane, chloroform, etc., are used. The dispersions of the internal nucleus particles 1 and the resin fine particles 2 are mixed, by which a sticking treatment 5 is executed and the toner 6 stuck with the resin fine particles is obtd. The toner 6 stuck with the resin particles is formed with resin coated layers 15 by subjecting the resin particles 2 to a dissolving and fixing treatment 7 by the solvent 4, by which the resin coated toner 8 is obtd. The images having the high image quality and high resolution are formed in this way. |
