<p>In hot dip coating of workpieces with molten metals, a flow is generated of the melt directed against the workpiece surface, accelerating flux residue removal from the metal surface. Pref. speed of melt relative to workpiece surface is 20 cm/sec. Method is used for coating metals with Zn (alloys), Pb (alloys), Al (alloys) and all alloys having m.pt. 150 degrees C. Process reduces dwell time of workpieces in the metal bath.</p> |
