PURPOSE:To prevent water from penetrating into a cowling via an intake structure so effectively by setting up an almost tubular waterwall, extending up to the yet lower part than the owing end of an ejector from a molding, so as to surround the circumference of the ejector. CONSTITUTION:An engine of an outboard motor 14 is mounted on a propulsion unit 12, and the lower part is covered with a bottom cowling 14 and the upper part with a top cowling 16, respectively. As an intake structure, feeding an intake box 42 of the engine 10 with air from the outside of the cowlings, there is provided an ejector 46 in the rear of the top cowling 16. In addition, in order to prevent any water from penetrating from an opening 50 of this ejector 46, from the upside, there is provided a molding 52 in the upper part of this opening 50. In this case, an almost tubular waterwall 54 is installed as being hungdown from a bottom surface of this molding 52. This waterwall 54 is extended the yet lower part than the opening 50 of the ejector 46, and it is set up so as to surround at least the peripheral wall of an upper part of the ejector 46. |
