PURPOSE:To prevent the malfeasant use of a prepaid card by finding out a counterfeit card when transaction is performed by providing a counterfeit prepaid card use prevention managing means which manages the ID number of an IC chip for manager and a consecutive number incremented at every transaction. CONSTITUTION:An SA type IC card SAC is added on a transaction terminal, and when the transaction terminal is stolen, the ID number of a stolen SA card and the consecutive number incremented at every transaction are managed by every relating transaction terminal as a burglar list. In other words, the ID number of the SA type IC card when the final transaction is performed recorded on the prepaid card is compared with that of the stolen SA type IC card on the burglar list, and when the ID numbers that matched with each other exist, the consecutive numbers of them are compared, and when the consecutive number of the stolen SA type IC card is larger, it is recognized as the counterfeit card. In such a way, it is possible to find out the counterfeit card due to a stolen terminal, and to respond to the prevention of the malfeasant use of the card. |
