PURPOSE:To obtain frequency modulation effect which never becomes unattractive by connecting a modulation frequency setting part to a modulation waveform generation part and a modulation amplitude setting part to a modulation waveform amplification part, and further connecting random number generation parts which add random fluctuations. CONSTITUTION:The frequency random number generation part 112 provided to the modulation frequency setting part 108 generates a random number for fluctuations of the frequency of a basic waveform for frequency modulation, i.e., a value of deviation from frequency data on the basic waveform for frequency modulation. Further, the amplitude random number generation part 113 provided to the modulation amplitude setting part 109 generate the random number for the value of deviation from amplitude data on the fundamental waveform for frequency modulation. Then the modulation frequency setting part 108 sets the frequency of the waveform for frequency modulation to which frequency fluctuations are added by using frequency data from an effect specification part 107 and modulation data for frequency data from a frequency random number generation part 112. Consequently, the periodic monotone of the frequency modulation effect is improved. |
