PURPOSE:To improve responsiveness, securing the superior steering stability and drive feeling, by installing a springy force generating means, besides an electromagnet device, between a car body side member and a wheel side member. CONSTITUTION:As for a magnetic suspension device, the base edges of the upper and lower arms 21 and 22 in pair are pivotally installed on a car body frame 23. Further, a hub carrier 24 which supports wheels 25 is connected with the top edges of the arms 21 and 22 through ball joints 26 and 27. Further, one electromagnet 4 which constitutes an electromagnet device 3 is fixed on the car body frame 23, and the other electromagnet 5 is fixed on a lower arm 22. In this case, permanent magnets 28 and 29 are installed on the car body frame 23 and the lower arm 22, contiguously to the electromagnets 4 and 5, and a springy force generating means 30 outside the electromagnet device 3 is formed. Accordingly, responsiveness is improved, and the exciting electric current which flows in the electromagnet device 3 can be economized. |
