PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the setting of a postprocessing and to improve the operability of an operator by setting the postprocessing attending on the set of a cover mode. CONSTITUTION:When the cover mode is specified by a cover mode specifying means, an automatic control means 300 successively records pictures onto sheets fed from one of sheet feeding systems by the use of a recording means, and sends them to sheet ejection path. Also, every time the prescribed recording- conditions are satisfied, the means 300 performs a cover process, in which a sheet fed from other sheet-feeding system is sent to the sheet ejection path, and performs the postprocessing by the use of a postprocessing means 20. That is, by specifying the formation of a cover, the postprocessing is performed at the same time, as well. Since the instruction to execute the postprocessing is eliminated and misoperation caused by the missing of the instruction is prevented, the operability is improved. |
