PURPOSE:To plot a clear thick line without open dots by moving the start point of plural line segments to constitute the thick line in a direction orthogonal to the line segment and plotting. CONSTITUTION:A line plotting circuit 5 executes line plotting based on Bresenham algorithm, writes respective dot information line-plotted in a picture memory 6 and gives the dot information also to a thick line processing circuit 4. Then, a first line 1 is plotted based on the Bresenham algorithm according to a first line direction vector DIR 1 and continuously, the line is plotted with moving a start point for 90 degrees. The line is plotted with moving the start point in a 90-degree-direction in order in this way and the line segment of the number of dots is plotted for thick line width. Thus, a thick line can be plotted without open dots. |
