PURPOSE:To operate a printer continuously without waiting for printing data by holding printing data outputted from CPU in a buffer and continuously outputting to the printer. CONSTITUTION:A transmission counter 43 refers to a buffer ready flag 37 corre sponding to the value of the counter in correspondence with a printer ready signal and outputs the counter value to a selector 39 when a system is in a busy state. The selector 39 outputs printing data stored in the corresponding buffer 33 to the printer 41. The transmission counter 43 sets the buffer ready flag 37 to a ready state in correspondence with the output of printing data and counts up the counter value. Thus, printing data is continuously outputted to the printer 41 through the selector 39. Thus, the printer 41 is prevented from waiting for the output of printing data from CPU 31, and can be continu ously operated. |
