PURPOSE:To constitute the endoscope so that it can be inserted smoothly by linearizing its flexible part and setting it to a state it can be inserted easily, in the case of inserting it into the part in which the insertion is difficult such as the S-shape colon by providing a curved part formed in the rear of a tip constituting part of an insertion part, and the flexible part which is formed on the handy side of the curved part and can be linearlized by an operation on the handy side. CONSTITUTION:An insertion part 2 is constituted of a hard tip constituting part 6, a curved part 7 being adjacent to this tip constituting part 6 and freely curvable, a flexible part 9 which is formed in the vicinity of the rear end of this curved part 7 and can be linearized, and a flexible tube part 9 having flexibility extending from the rear end of this flexible part to the front end of an operating part 3. By an operation from the operating part 3 side, the curved part 7 can be curved freely in four directions of the upper and the lower directions and the left and the right directions. By moving backward a linearizing member 34, a stopper member 36 is pushed backward and linearizing wires 33a, 33b, 33c and 33d are drams and the flexible part 9 can be linearized. |
