<p>PURPOSE:To respectively easily identify the fast forwarding and rewinding of forward rotation and backward rotation corresponding to respective operation modes by providing totally four direction display parts, in which two parts direct oppositely, to display a tape traveling direction as the operation display of the tape driving direction. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal display 9 to display the operational state of a main body 1 of a tape recorder, and direction display parts 25-28 to display the tape traveling direction and composed of totally four elements in which two elements direct oppositely are provided. When the operational state of the tape recorder is forward rotation reproduction, only the element 27 is displayed, when it is backward rotation reproduction only the element 26 is displayed, when it is forward rotation fast forwarding, the two elements 27 and 28 are displayed, when it is backward rotation fast forwarding, the two elements 25 and 26 are displayed, when it is forward rotation rewinding, the three elements 25-27 are displayed and when it is backward rotation rewinding, the three elements 26-28 are displayed. Thus, it can be easily discriminated whether the fast forwarding and rewinding states are in a forward direction or backward direction.</p> |
