<p>PURPOSE:To improve the articulation by calculating a coefficient, which suppresses the change of the level, based on information of the level of an input signal and outputting the signal after multiplication of this coefficient. CONSTITUTION:A level measuring means 11 measures the level of the input signal, and a level smoothing coefficient calculating means 12 obtains the coefficient, which suppresses the change of the level of the input signal, based on the output of the level measuring means 11 at this time and before and after this time. The input signal is delayed by the time required for processing in a delay means 13. A multiplying means 14 multiplied the output of the delay means 13 by the output of the level smoothing coefficient calculating means 12 and outputs the multiplication result. Thus, the change with time of the level of the input signal is reduced, and the signal in the low level of a consonant or the like is prevented from being masked by the signal in the high level of a vowel or the lime, and the articulation is improved.</p> |
