PURPOSE:To prevent the offset by an electrostatic action by providing a conductive elastic body layer which is provided on a porous elastic body layer and conducts to an arbor and a fluororesin surface layer provided on this conductive elastic body. CONSTITUTION:A fixing roller 1 is constituted by coating the circumference of the arbor 12 with a release resin, such as PFA or PTFE. The pressure roller 3 is constituted by providing a silicone sponge layer 15 around an arbor 14. A conductive silicone rubber layer 16 is put thereon and a tube consisting of PFA dispersed with a carbon black is put on the outermost layer. The arbors of the fixing roller 1 and the pressure roller 3 are grounded. Then, even if the charges of the same polarity as the polarity of a toner accumulate on the surface of the pressure roller 3, the electric lines of force by these charges direct toward the conductive silicone rubber layer 16 and, therefore, the action of repulsive force on the toner image is obviated and the generation of the offset is prevented. The low hardness and good release property are obtd. in this way and the electrostatic offset is prevented. |
