The fastening grip comprises a claw 3, for gripping around a tubular scaffolding pole 13, and a spring actuated closing arm 9 to at least partially close off the claw opening in a closed position, and to keep the said opening open against the spring action in an open position. A wire 14 is connected to the closing arm 9 in order to move the closing arm from the closed to the open position when the wire is pulled. The grip 2 furthermore has a spring actuated locking pin 18, 20 fitted in the claw 3, which in the open position of the locking arm can engage in an opening 22, 23 therein in order to keep the locking arm 9 in the open position. The fastening grip is especially suited to places where access is difficult, for example on the underside of scaffolding cover plates. <IMAGE>
