PURPOSE:To improve processing capacity by using the data base file of CODASIL (data systems language conference) specification as a queue file for notice as against a customer. CONSTITUTION:A time queue file 7 is the data base file of CODASIL specification in which absolute time is set to be an owner record and it is the queue file for giving the notice of designated absolute time. Here, the owner record with absolute time as a key is provided. When transaction is generated to the customer, time concerned which is designated from the customer is compared with the owner record, the queue is registered in a physical record where the owner record of the minimum key satisfying the condition of time concerned >=time of owner record exists and it is used as the opportunity of the notice scheduling of the customer. Thus, the physical record of the owner record of target absolute time or relative time can be once accessed at the time of reading and adding the queue. Thus, the number of input/output is reduced and processing capacity is improved. |
