PURPOSE:To facilitate the generation of a feature parameter sequence for connection and to prevent a synthesized voice from deteriorating by providing a calculating means and a storage means where transition ratio patterns showing transition ratios at respective points are stored in relation with a 1st or 2nd feature parameter sequence. CONSTITUTION:The calculating means 1000 internally divide the 1st or 2nd feature parameter sequence at the transition ratios which meet continuation requirements of the 1st or 2nd feature parameter sequence and are determined for the respective points to generate a feature parameter sequence for connection. The storage means 2000 is stored with the transition ratio patterns which show the transition ratios at the respective points in a connection section in relation with the 1st or 2nd feature parameter sequence for the generation of the feature parameter sequence for connection by the calculating means 1000. Consequently, the feature parameter sequence for connection can be generated from a simple calculation expression and a feature parameter sequence for connection with a variation characteristic which can not be expressed by a conventional function can be generated, so the quantity of a synthesized voice is improved. |
