PURPOSE:To allow the drastic change of the surface of a photosensitive high polymer from a hydrophobic to hydrophilic property by incorporating a specific photosensitive group into the side chain of the high polymer and irradiating the surface with light. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive high polymer having the photosensitive group expressed by formula I is incorporated into the side chain of the high polymer. In the formula I, Ar denotes a residual arom. group; R1 to R5 denote a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, alkoxy group, residual arom. group; either one of R1 and R5 is a hydrogen atom. Patterns of the hydrophobic surfaces and the hydrophilic surfaces are formed on the photosensitive high-polymer laminate consisting of this photosensitive high polymer and a base if this photosensitive high-polymer laminate is subjected to image exposing. Ink is supplied by an ink roller, etc., onto this photosensitive high-polymer laminate, by which the ink is stuck to either of the hydrophobic surfaces or the hydrophilic surfaces and the patterns of the ink are formed. |
