Computer controlled mechanical model for teaching machine processes - has machine tool in holder by drive under control of computer program

The mechanical function model demonstrates operating processes such as positioning, manipulating, cutting, transporting and plotting. A tool holder (20), for a tool adapted to the process has a plug connector (34) which has the same electric and mechanic construction for all models. A moving unit (22), with the same plug connector has an interface (32), the same construction for all models, for connecting to a computer (24) and at least one drive motor (44). The computer (24) is programmed to control the drive motor (44). USE/ADVANTAGE - For teaching prodn. methods e.g. construction, parts mfr., assembly, end control, operation etc. Uses an actual usable model to give stable and accurate indication of process.
