<p>Structural members comprising an intermediate web with hollow flanges extending longitudinally thereof are made in a cold roll forming process from three separate strips of metal (7a, 7b, 7c) which are shaped and fused together in a continuous operation. The hollow flanges (8a, 8b) are formed along the edges of the intermediate web (7b) with or without portion of the web member (7b) extending into the hollow interior of the flanges (8a, 8b). Composite structures are formed with a plurality of web and/or flange members.</p> |
