Peptides having human connective tissue activating activity are disclosed. These peptides differ from native CTAP-III by having the first from 10 to 19 amino acids deleted from their NH2 end. In addition they may optionally be substituted at the position corresponding to the 21-methionine of CTAP-III. The peptides are more active than CTAP-III. |
