PURPOSE:To enhance preservability, to prevent the fusion with an image receiving sheet for thermal transfer recording or the background staining of the image receiving sheet and to suppress the lowering of image density by laminating an ink layer containing a heat-diffusible dye, an acetal resin and nitrocellulose to a support. CONSTITUTION:An ink sheet fundamentally has such a structure that an ink layer 2 is laminated to a support 1. The ink layer 2 fundamentally contains a heat-diffusible dye, an acetal resin and nitrocellulose. As the heat-diffusible dye, a cyan dye, a magenta dye and a yellow dye are designated and, as the cyan dye, a naphthoquinone type dye, an anthraquinone type dye or an azomethine type dye is designated. As the magenta dye, an anthraquinone type dye, an azo dye or an azomethine type dye is designated and, as the yellow dye, a methine type dye, an azo type dye, a quinophthalone type dye or an anthraisothiazole type dye is designated. As the acetal resin, polyvinyl acetoacetal or polyvinyl butyral can be designated. |
