<p>A preform for molding a resin vessel and a mold for molding said preform, wherein said preform is provided with a mouth part (32) whose outer periphery is composed of an insert piece (20) made of resin excellent in resistance to heat, and a joint-reinforcing part (36) composed of resin to be used for injection molding of the preform proper (34) is formed integral with a support ring (28) of said insert piece (20), whereby excellent resistance to heat at the mouth part (32) and sufficient mechanical strength of said preform are possible; and said mold for molding the preform is provided with a screw-escape groove (12) in the mouth-forming part (10) thereof for preventing interference of the mold with the screw threads (22a) of said insert piece (20) to thereby simplify the molding device and the process.</p> |
