PURPOSE:To improve density irregularities and the like by a recording method wherein a recording condition for a recording means is changed in accordance with image correction information stored in a storage means. CONSTITUTION:The contents of non-volatile memories in recording heads are previously written in RAMs 122-125 by being tramsmitted thereto through a central processing unit CPU. The output of a counter 120 refers to a delivery port number of a recording head corresponding to image data at that time. In the RAMs 122-125, gamma correction curve numbers for the delivery ports are recorded on positions having adresses of the delivery port numbers. Therefore, a gamma correction ROM 126 discriminates the table number by an upper address, receives the image data outputted from a gamma conversion circuit intact by a lower address, corrects the input image data in accordance with one function selected out of gamma correction curves, and transmits the correction result to a succeeding binarizing circuit 96. |
