Valve has a cylindrical valve body guide, a conically tapering valve seat and a valve body (12) operated by a rod. The valve body (12) comprises a guide part (14) and a sealing part (16), the two parts being attached to each other. In a plane at right angles to the valve rod the guide part (14) cross-section has a continuous, stepless transition from a triple-pointed design into a circular-shaped sealing part (16). 'Teflon' (RTM) is used to mfr. the valve body (12). USE/ADVANTAGE - The valve is used in spray guns, improves cut flow when the valve is open and eliminates the need for a special sealing ring.
