A multi-cavity injection moulding system comprises: (a) a back plate arrangement, (b) hot runner manifold plates for first and second plastic materials, arranged parallel to one another, (c) injection nozzles fixed to the manifold plate for feeding material to cavities in a cavity plate, (d) an inlet for a first plastic material in the back plate arrangement, (e) a central supply channel extending from the inlet through the manifold plates, (f) branched hot runners extending from the channel to melt channels of each injection nozzle, and (g) an inlet for a second plastic material in the manifold plate connected by branching hot runners to a central axial bore of each nozzle.
