NUCLEOTIDE SEQUENCES CODING FOR A HUMAN PROTEIN WITH ANGIOGENESIS REGULATIVE PROPERTIES

摘要

A cDNA sequence coding for a human protein having regulative properties of angiogenesis has been isolated and sequenced. Expression vector containing such sequence have been constructed and, after transformation of host cells, the synthesis of the related protein has been obtained. Such protein called PlGF can be employed both in the tumoral immunologic and diagnostic field and in the therapeutic field for pathologies related to the formation of vessels, as for instance the healing of wounds and so on.
