It consists of a chassis 1 which can tilt on a fixed base 6, the endless belt 2 being mounted between the rollers 3 and 4 of the chassis 1, said belt being displaced towards the rear part of the machine over a sliding surface. It also incorporates the hydraulic system for varying the tilt of the chassis 1 via front hydraulic cylinders 8. The lower face of the belt 2 includes a trapezial profile 11 for its automatic centring on the drive 3 and tensioning 4 rollers provided for this purpose with their own annular grooves. The sliding surface where the upper strand of the belt 2 rests also includes a central longitudinal groove for this purpose. The value of the gradient of the endless belt 2 or tilt of the chassis 1 is shown on the control panel, since a potentiometer 13 secured elastically to the fixed base 6 is provided, in a vertical position. The potentiometer 13 includes a toothed crown which meshes with the toothing provided on a circular sector 17 integral with the chassis 1 and concentric with the rotational shaft 7 thereof. <IMAGE>
