<p>A method and apparatus for adjusting the value of a number displayed on a digital display is disclosed. The display (10) is put into an adjustment mode. A first icon (20) and a second icon (22) are alternately displayed. The displayed value (21) is incremented by engaging an adjustment means (18) while the first icon (20) is displayed.
