The multi-stage blower has a bias resistor assembly (12) that is mounted on a carrier plate (15) that is larger than the opening formed (11) in the body panel. When inserted into the opening the resistor section has projecting pins that connect with the blower contacts. Formed on the carrier plate are hook shaped lugs (20,21) that engage formed sections (13,14) of the plate to secure the unit. ADVANTAGE - Simple and secure mounting onto housing.
