Roll straightening of I=beam profiles - with sections concast with thickened areas near flanges which are rolled out when flanges are symmetrical to web
摘要
Roll straightening I-beams whose symmetry line (S2) in the flange sections is inclined to the symmetry line (S1) of the web, consists of concasting the suction with an additional widened suction (Vb, Vb') in the area of the web as it connects with the flange. As the section is rotated from the vertical to the horizontal plane via rolls, the widened section is reduced and the symmetry lines (S2) are rotated to coincide with that of the web (S1). ADVANTAGE - Section is straightened with the flanges symmetric to the web with the need for expensive guide and support appts.
