PURPOSE:To satisfactorily maintain the driving property by providing an interpolation setting means setting the ignition timing of the knocking noncontrol region near the knocking control region via the interpolation of the basic ignition timing and the value corrected with the adjacent basic ignition timing based on the learning value. CONSTITUTION:A basic ignition timing setting means, a knocking detecting means, and a spark advance/lag correcting means advance/lag-correcting the basic ignition timing to maintain the proper knocking level in response to the presence of a knocking in the preset knocking control region are provided. A knocking learning means calculating the learning value correcting the basic ignition timing based on the spark advance/lag correction value before the spark advance/lag correction and storing the learning value for each operation region is included to constitute the knocking control device of an internal combustion engine. An interpolation setting means setting the ignition timing of the knocking noncontrol region near the knocking control region via the interpolation of the basic ignition timing of the knocking control region and the value corrected with the basic ignition timing of the adjacent knocking control region based on the learning value is provided. |
