The machine is for tucking in the end of a roll of packaging material jutting out from the ends of rolled-up goods, it incorporates a number of triangular parts (23) concentric with the axle (15) of a housing (14) which are moved towards housing axis by means of a lever (18) mounted in the housing (14). The lever (18) pivot axle is moved parallel to the housing axle (15). The housing consists of two interlocking parts (14,16) the outer one (14) of which holds the lever (18) pivot axle, and the inner one (16) holds the shaft journal. USE/ADVANTAGE - The jutting-out part of the packaging is gripped simultaneously at different points and pressed inwards evenly and radially.
