<p>PURPOSE:To prevent clogging from occurring in a desulfurizing agent-blowing nozzle, and efficiently humidify the desulfurizing agent powder in an exhaust gas by providing on the exhaust gas flow path a humidified desulfurizing agent powder supplying device consisting of a mixing chamber for desulfurizing agent powder and the exhaust gas flow and an expansion chamber on the downstream side of this mixing chamber. CONSTITUTION:A mixing chamber 61 and an expansion chamber 62 are provided along the flow of exhaust gas 2, a carrier draft, on the upstream side and downstream side of said gas flow, respectively, and desulfurizing agent powder 5 is poured into the mixing chamber 61. It is possible to preliminarily introduce steam or the like into the carrier draft 2, and it is also possible to inject water 13 and steam 15 into the mixing chamber 61. The desulfurizing agent powder 5 is mixed with the carrier draft 2 in the mixing chamber 61, and thereafter, the carrier draft 2 is adiabatically expanded in the expansion chamber 62, whereby waterdrops are condensed on the particle surfaces, the desulfurizing agent powder being thereby humidified. And, waterdrops 16 are precipitated on the particle surfaces of the desulfurizing agent powder 5. Accordingly, the desulfurizer of this invention displays more improved humidification efficiency for the powder 5 as compared with the conventional method, in which the desulfurizing agent powder particles are brought into contact with the waterdrops, because water is precipitated on each powder particle.</p> |
