PURPOSE:To lower the scattering of a positional relationship of two acoustic lenses by obtaining a plurality of acoustic lenses corresponding to a plurality of ultrasonic transducers by an integral molding. CONSTITUTION:Two acoustic lenses 4A and 4B corresponding to ultrasonic transducers 1A and 1B are integrated and the integration of the acoustic lenses 4A and 4B is realized by an integral molding. Skirt p arts 6A-1. 6A-2 and 6B-1 are mounted on sides of the acoustic lenses 4A and 4B to position a backing material as base of vibrators 12A and 12B. The acoustic lenses 4A and 4B thus arranged by the integral molding can be bonded at a time on matching layers 13A and 13B to laminate. This enables the production of two ultrasonic probes quickly thereby achieving higher productivity. The integral molding allows the lowering positional variations between the two ultrasonic transducers thereby improving acoustic characteristic of a product significantly. |
