A vaporiser for an essential oil based scent has a free standing body (1) in which the oil is held within a vaporising chamber (11). Within the chamber is a sponge like body that retains the oil. The main body of the chamber contains water. Within the base is a light bulb (5) that provide free convection air flow that heats a cup shaped ventilator (9). The air flow causes the scent and water vapour to exit around the comb shaped elements (23). The top section has a coloured, water filled vessel as a display feature (19). USE/ADVANTAGE - Avoids overheating. Uses minimum energy. Good mixing of vapour and scent.
