PURPOSE:To automatically and speedily execute bit detection, to decrease the processing of a microcomputer and to improve performance by providing a control means to detect a bit position in a picture data and a means to detect the desired bit position. CONSTITUTION:The data of the bit position to start the detection of the bit position in the picture data is written in a bit position detection control means 3 together with the picture data by a microcomputer 1. The data of these start bits is stored in an 8 bit latch 5a and the picture data is held in a latch 5b respectively. Then, when the data of the start bits passes data selectors 6a and 6b, it is selected by a ULSEL signal whether the high-order bit or the low-order bit of the start bits is detected. Thus, since the bit position detection control means 3 and a bit position detecting means 4 are provided to automatically and speedily detect the bits ('0' or '1') in the picture data, the microcomputer can execute the other processing on the inside, and efficiency for the processing of the microcomputer can be improved. |
