The invention relates to a cableway made of welded steel wire mesh. The edge wires (4) which form the upper edges of the vertical portions of the cableway are welded onto the ends of the transverse wires (1b) in a position such that at the welding point the axes of the edge wires (4) and the axes of the transverse wires (1b) are substantially in a same plane.
